Strongly recommend for a couple of nights

Comfortable room, convenient amenities, including free parking and a fitness center, made for an enjoyable stay where we could easily explore the area and enjoy a good breakfast in the morning.

The hotel was beautifully decorated with a clean, modern aesthetic, making it easy to navigate. I particularly appreciated the accessibility features, including ramps and spacious elevators, which made my stay very comfortable as a senior woman.

Not worth the hassle

Honestly, this was our worst stay in Blacksburg. The pet fee was way more than expected, and there were no pet areas around. Plus, the room smelled awful, like spoiled milk. The breakfast was inconsistent too—mostly cold stuff. It's a real bummer because the staff was somewhat friendly.

Family with children appreciate the comfort

The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. They even helped give us directions to a local mall, which was a lifesaver for us.

The Queen Suite was perfect for our family of four, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. We loved the blackout shades for a good night's sleep and the fun atmosphere at the pool area. I stayed one night in a standard room and it was pretty decent. The bed was comfortable and I got upgraded to a room with a walk-in shower, which was a nice surprise. The shower was great too. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, but nothing super fancy. Just what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn, I guess. All in all, it worked for my visit to see my granddaughter at V Tech.
